Silverleaf Resorts History

Silverleaf has been providing quality family vacations since 1989. Our original seven resorts were located in Texas and Missouri. After we moved from a privately held company to a public company in 1997, we added resorts in additional states. In 1997, Silverleaf added Fox River Resort in Illinois and Timber Creek Resort in Missouri. In 1998 we added Oak 'N Spruce Resort in Massachusetts. In 1999, we opened Apple Mountain Resort in Georgia and in 2000, we added Seaside Resort in Texas. Most recently, in 2005 we added Orlando Breeze in Orlando, Florida to the Silverleaf family and in 2006 we added The Pinnacle Lodge in Winterpark, Colorado for use though the Bonus Time Program. In May 2011, Silverleaf Resorts was acquired by Cerberus Capital Management, L.P. and as result, became a private company. We continue to look for opportunities to grow and to provide better services to our members with each new year including new resort locations, additional services or unique new products.
