In recognition of our valued owners, Silverleaf offers several unique benefits such as the Internal Exchange Program where Silverleaf Owners can exchange their time intervals to allow for flexibility in their vacation schedules. Silverleaf  Owners are also given the opportunity to take advantage of international exchanges by enrolling in the world’s largest Vacation Interval program provided by Resort Condominiums International. Silverleaf Resorts Inc. has access to an exchange network of over 3,000 resorts worldwide, in addition to the 13 properties that we currently own and operate here in the U.S. 

Founded in 1977 by real estate developer Robert E. Mead, the Silverleaf Vacation Club acquired The Villages, a development that had originally been in dire straits financially and was redeveloped to become the company’s first vacation ownership resort. This development included the opening of a 19,000 square foot premier waterpark. The burgeoning success of the Silverleaf brand lead to the eventual expansion of 13 properties. Ranked in the top 100 of the top 200 Best Small Companies by Forbes Magazine, Silverleaf has successfully secured relationships with vital organizations such as the Better Business Bureau, the American Resort Development Association and the Chamber of Commerce.
